THE PROBLEM

Our existing website had become significantly outdated both visually and technically. The site architecture lacked coherence, content was thin and poorly optimized, and SEO performance suffered as a result.

Compounding these issues, the site operated on an older version of Umbraco that offered minimal customization options and severely restricted SEO adjustments. Even small updates often required support from our external marketing agency, slowing down improvements and limiting our ability to adapt to evolving business needs.

THE SOLUTION

To address these challenges, we initiated a full website redevelopment effort. This included a complete visual redesign, restructuring of the sitemap, rewriting and optimizing content, and rethinking the user journey with a mobile-first approach.

The project also involved migrating from Umbraco to WordPress to provide a more flexible, modern platform with enhanced customization capabilities and improved control over SEO.

As project facilitator, I coordinated closely with our selected vendor to ensure new components aligned with business requirements, gathered and communicated cross-functional needs, validated UI/UX decisions, and kept the project aligned with strategic objectives throughout each phase.

THE RESULTS

The redevelopment is currently in progress, with core design, site architecture, and platform migration underway. Once complete, the new website will provide a modern, intuitive user experience, greater control over content and SEO, and a scalable foundation that supports future digital initiatives.
